En film baseret på erindringerne af Sarfraz Mansoor, som fortæller en histore om en Pakistansk/Engelsk teenager i Luton, England i 80’erne, og drømmen om at undslippe.
En dag opdager han Bruce Springsteens musik, og resten af hans liv forandres. Sarfraz bliver inspireret af Springsteens tekster og musik, til den kendte journalist han i er den dag i dag.
