ZZ Top are preparing a new album titled "RAW", recorded in conjunction with the hugely popular and critically acclaimed 2019 Netflix documentary "That Little Ol' Band From Texas".
The first track to be released is "Brown Sugar," one of the earlier recordings in the band's career.
The Grammy-nominated film from Banger Films and director Sam Dunn includes an interlude in which the group's classic lineup - Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard and the late Dusty Hill - come together for a very intimate session at Gruene Hall, the "oldest continuously operating dance hall in Texas" in New Braunfels, in the heart of the Texas hill country. This performance formed the basis for the release of the "RAW" album.
