Den elskede Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of The Beach Boys fra 2004, som oprindeligt indeholdt 30 af bandets største hits, får nu en omfattende opgradering i anledning af Beach Boys’ 60-års jubilæum. Denne nye udgave er udvidet med 50 ekstra numre, der spænder over hele deres karriere – i alt 80 sange fyldt med ikoniske hits og fanfavoritter som Til I Die, Sail on Sailor og Feel Flows.

Ud over det udvidede tracklist har 26 af sangene fået nye mixes, hvoraf to for første gang præsenteres i stereomix.

Den nye version af Sounds of Summer udgives i både en 3CD-udgave og en eksklusiv 6LP-version.
