Helmig, Hugo: Juvenile (CD)

Debut album by 20 year-old rising star (and son-of-a-legend) Hugo Helmig. Since his debut back in 2017, where he released the single 'Please Don't Lie' on his 19th birthday Hugo has enjoyed great success in Denmark and Germany. That year the single was the most played song on Danish Radio and had him charting on the German airplay chart.

Some 30 million streams later another single called Wild and an EP was released and prizes wasmawarded to him by P3 and Politiken. This marks a solid platform for Hugo to release his debut album called 'Juvenile' - an album about the transition to adulthood and the limbo this transition leaves you in.

The album has been recorded with producer Emil Falk in The Bank's studio complex in Copenhagen.

Being the son of famous Danish singer, Thomas Helmig, a lot of pressure and attention has been on the music of Hugo, on which he's only been able to deliver with great performances. With the release of his debut album, Hugo will be touring most of Denmark in March and will continue touring in Germany.
