Winter in America, released in 1974, is the fifth studio album by American jazz vocalist Gil Scott-Heronand and keyboardist Brian Jackson. The album is produced in a stripped-down fashion, relying on traditional African and R&B sounds, and the subject matter deals with the African-American community and inner city in the 1970s. The vinyl has long been out of print and unavailable. This deluxe package includes an OBI side strip, gatefold album jacket with one pocket, original album art work, printed inner sleeve, original record labels and specialty color vinyl with an inside/out black/white effect and is the French Import edition.
