Simply titled after the band's name, their 1978 debut album The Cars liked to ironically call their greatest hits album in the years that followed. In fact, all nine tracks on that album are still played on American radio stations today. The then revolutionary mix of bubblegum pop melodies, edgy art rock, brilliant arrangements and concise minimalism is catchy and eccentric at the same time and still finds fans today. Especially hits like "Good Times Roll", "You're all I have got tonight" "Just What I Needed" or "My Best Friend's Girl" just don't get old.
