I 1999-2000 var Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) på turne i Usa for første gang i 12 år! Hans "In The Flesh" show er en fantastisk gennemgang af Waters' musik lige fra det tidlige Pink Floyd over mesterværker fra "The Wall" og "Dark Side Of The Moon" mindre kendt materiale fra "Animals", "Wish You Were Here", og "The Final Cut" sange fra soloalbummene "Amused To Death" og "The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking" samt den nye sang "Each Small Candle."

Den amerikanske presse var ellevilde:
San Jose Mercury News skrev at showet "was rock as art, with the kind of concern for sound rarely seen today." Og Fort Worth Star Telegram mente at "his long, luscious two-set show made up mainly of Floyd classics was on a more human scale… this show felt like a celebration."
