”A Thousand Words” er Arne van Petegens debutalbum og indeholder gæsteindlæg fra blandt
andet Josh Rouse, Blake Hazard fra The Submarines og Jim Adkins fra Jimmy Eat World.
Styrofoams sound er blevet kaldt ”emotronica” og sammelignes med bl.a. Postal Service. Som
producent og remixer har Styrofoam samarbejdet med blandt andet nævnte The Postal Service,
Death Cab For Cutie, Jimmy Eat World og Lali Puna.
