Pink Floyd - A Saucerful of Secrets - Mono LP VINYL

This mono mix of Pink Floyd’s second studio album, "A Saucerful Of Secrets" was reissued for Record Store Day 2019 and sold out quickly. It is now available to all retailers.

After "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", "A Saucerful of Secrets" was Pink Floyd's second album. During the recordings in 1967/1968 at Abbey Road Studios, Syd Barrett's mental problems increased more and more, even two of his songs were not included in the album in the end. The band was looking for a second guitarist: at first Jeff Beck was under discussion, but he proved to be too expensive. The choice finally fell on David Gilmour, a friend of the band. The last recordings of the album were played by Gilmour alone. The final separation from Syd Barrett then took place in April 1968.

After "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", "A Saucerful of Secrets" was the second album by Pink Floyd, which was first released in 1968. From 29.04.2022 it is available as 180 gram 1LP vinyl. This is the remaster of the original mono mix from the analog tapes recorded at Abbey Road Studios in 1967.
